Middle School

The Methodist School Center middle school program stresses spiritual and ethical growth through individualization so that each child achieves academic success at his/her own level. This, in turn, provides the child with a positive self-image and a good attitude toward school. Students will be expected to follow the course of studies outlines at each grade level.

The curriculum includes the following:

• Spiritual Values/Ethics - Chapel & Bible study curriculum
• Language Arts - Reading, comprehension, language expression, spelling, English, creative writing, Reading Counts Program

• Science & Social Studies - Discovery through experiments & unit work

• Computer Literacy - Computers in all elementary classrooms

• Standardized Tests - MSC administered

• Audio-Visual Technology
